I tried imitate a style reminiscent to an amazing illustrator by the name of Neil Durden. Of course with my own touch. This was just a play about really, i made it in a day to "art up" my twitter and blog avatars. I'll post up some more serious work soon enough.

After Climax
This piece is dubbed "After Climax" and comes, i think at a critical juncture in my development as an artist. I think i've realised that I maybe making images to be ":cool" instead of expressing anything truly sincere. After climax also comes as a surprise boost in technicality, where i'm finally producing the clean, sophisticated look I admire in so many artists.

The Resistance
My broken heart and fractured mind shall mend. I will rebuild stronger then before. Forever will I Treasure these Crystalline Tears. The keepsakes of a moment between two times of Light.
Dedicated to one of the strongest people I know, enduring some hardship

Playing with Particles
I was playing with the concept of depth, so i figured along with the photos that show depth of field, i'd try play with particles in the fore, mid and background. Tell me what you think.

Edited MAP
I've edited the map slightly from the previous version below. I've now added the actual tube map at low opacity underneath, so you can see how my circle line fits in. I think its better. Click the image for more detail.

Light Map of Circle Line
A map of all the interesting people i took a picture of, during my 1hr 20min round trip of the circle line. Including when i forgot to get of my train and ended up on the hammersmith and city line. I kept the colours the same as an underground map, but all the stops are marked with light flares and instead of station names i've marked out approximately where and when i took one of my undercover photos. Besides the police man, no body else knew the where pictures being taken of them, so i had to be very discrete, hence some of the fuzziness. No flash people on a crappy snaphappy digital camera. Ha.

Repetition
These are a couple of my repetition experiments. I was working on creating abstract shapes constructed with the architecture of some of Londons more well known buildings. Below i've shown the original photos i was working on. I've done a lot more from where these came from. But i\m saving that for my book. Click on the pieces if you want to truly see some awesome details.

Water works
So as you can see, this is a continuation from my textured smoke experiments. I tried to utilise water, and create an entire body.
Maybe it was working with more than a profile, or maybe it was trying to capture the nature of water in my work, but this experiment was incredibly difficult to complete, but i'm happy with my results.

i added the original image so that you can see the complete reconstruction of the bottom half of the body i had to do, her original pose, really never worked with my idea of water, and the sex appeal i wanted to add into the image.
I'm really happy with the final result, and even happier i only have one more experiment for the Texture Chapter in my book.

Smoking Area
Here are a couple of smoking textured posters I spent some time on.. i love the concept, i just have to think of a snappy line of copy to go with them, something poetically morbid I'm thinking.
I used myself as the male model, and my housemate for the girl. Both have been completely reconstructed in smoke. I love the warp tool. smiley face. Tell me what you think in the comment box, or give me some ideas for the copy and i may just love you forever...or till my lungs give in at least.
....where are my cigarettes again?
